Street Fighter Book (part 1)
The Tribute to Street Fighter book by UDON Entertainment will be released to the public on July 23rd. I had the honor of providing an illustration for the book and now I have the satisfaction of showing it to you good people.
Super-cool 11”x17” prints of this painting will be available on July 23rd and are now available for pre-order.
Only 200 prints will be made. Each one will be signed and numbered. They will sell for $18 and will include free standard first-class shipping within the US.
Please email me [coatley at mac.com] if you are interested in purchasing any of the prints available on ChrisOatley.com.
I’ve been a fan of Street Fighter 2 since its first appearance in the arcades. Needless to say, being able to put my own personal spin on two of my favorite characters from the game (Chun-Li and Blanka) was a veritable artistic hootenanny. I sure hope you like it.
One of the podcast episodes that I have been working on (they ARE coming, friends, I’m really not making this stuff up) will go into more detail about the creation of this piece. I am trying to get that done to coincide with the launch of the book on July 21, and I am hopeful that my schedule will allow this.
Until then, go well.
ALSO AVAILABLE:
‘The Dreamer’ prints are available now. They look really good. They are roughly 11”x15”, printed on a durable, glossy, heavy stock and they cost $15. Regular, first-class shipping (rolled-up in a small shipping tube) within the US is included. I’ll ship them any way you prefer but anything more pricey than standard first-class mail will have to be covered by the purchaser.
